7 Day Meditation Challenge with Box Breathing.
Each 15-minute meditation is set up to be an easy daily practice. There are 5 live meditations' scheduled throughout the week, starting Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, with Thursday/Friday for participants to do on their own, and then, live classes Saturday/Sunday to conclude the 7-Day challenge.
This gives everyone an opportunity to join in a live class, but don't worry if you can't, all of the meditation classes are recorded for you to watch and practice.
There are so many benefits to beginning a meditation practice and box breathing (also known as square breathing), has extraordinary proven benefits on the physical, mental and emotional levels of your well-being.
Box breathing, also known as square breathing or Sama Vritti Pranayama, is a calming breathing technique. It involves inhaling, holding, exhaling, and holding again, each for a count of four (these are not seconds but rather, a relaxed mental count), resembling the shape of a box.

One of the best natural remedies for anxiety, stress, etc. Breathwork is incredible and has so many benefits, on so many different levels.
10-15 minutes of breathwork practiced daily to bring your body and your system back into balance.
Mental and emotional - significantly improves stress, anxiety and depression levels, helps with cognitive function and mental clarity.
Activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body's "rest and digest" response, helping to calm the body and reduce stress.
While Physically - it improves circulation, lowers blood pressure, improves the immune system, nervous system, improves digestive health, releases toxins, improves sleep and is even proven to help manage pain.
It's amazing how something so easy and so simple, like Square Breathing, can have so many benefits and positive effects, that can even be felt instantly.
Get yourself comfortable, sit down, relax, softly close your eyes (you can place your hands in prayer pose, you can touch your heart center to help center yourself) and just start breathing.
Box breathing:
you can inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth (pursed lips) for several rounds and then inhaling and exhaling through only the nose for the next several rounds.
• Inhale: Slowly inhale for a count of four visualizing the breath filling your lungs and diaphragm.
• Hold: Hold your breath for a count of four.
• Exhale: Slowly exhale for a count of four, visualizing the breath leaving your lungs and diaphragm.
• Hold: Hold your breath out for a count of four.
• Repeat: Repeat cycle for several rounds.
It's that easy!
